Much of what I have learned about Topaz DeNoise and Sharpen AI was learned by watching Alan’s various videos and webinars and I am looking forward to his next presentation on Tuesday, Octo(8 PM Eastern, 7 PM Central, 6 PM Mountain & 5 PM Pacific time). I would be lost without it and worry that Topaz may discontinue it to push people to other AI offerings. Review manufacturer specifications for the Canon EOS Rebel T3i / 600D. At one point AI Clear was the cornerstone product of all their AI offerings. Their AI Clear product is the absolute single best one they offer, and now you can get to it only by going first to AI DeNoise and selecting the second option. My biggest concern is that Topaz may later jettison some of their products. Finally, for the bargain price of 79.99 you can’t really argue. I don’t like that I can’t batch process images, but that’s not really what this is about. I love that I now have this extra option should it be needed. Yes, some of the programs are so slow as to be almost worthless, but most of them do things that I can't begin to do on my own, and I'm a pretty good retoucher. This is not an essential plug-in, but that doesn’t detract from its usefulness. With their more recent AI introductions over the last year or so, I am also finding opportunities to clean up past work when a client needs it in today's expected resolution. I may not use a third-party component to most of my retouching, but when I do, one of more of the Topaz products is my first go-to solution.
